Andy and Tom finally set off for Nairobi and points beyond on Monday evening. Not without a last minute panic as the travel agent omitted to tell them that they needed a return ticket before Emirates let them on the plane. They called from Dubai and are now in a bamboo hut at a campsite in Nairobi ( www.upperhillcampsite.com ) Tomorrow it should be the overnight train journey to Mombasa.
