Terry Ton Takes Thirds To Twenty-Four

Chris Terry’s 130 was one of many highlights, as the Thirds enjoyed a great win against Griff & Coton.

Fillongley batted first and thank’s to Chris’ hundred, plus useful contributions from Simon Blackmore and Kyle Taylor amassed a score of over 290 from their 45 overs.  This always seemed likely to be too much for Griff, and a number of bowlers chipped in with wickets.  From memory, Johnny Brown picked up a couple of wickets, and so did Harry Tregonning, as captain Duncan Moore rotated his bowlers (nine were used) in a successful attempt to pry out the last few Griff batsmen before the overs ran out.

If anyone was at the game, and can give a better account – please add some information below and I’ll update this report.
