Winning Draw for Sun 2s at Sheldon

Although things didn’t go to plan for the first team on Sunday, the Sunday 2nds enjoyed a convincing winning draw over Sheldon Marlborough, at Foliot Fields.
Batting firsts the Storks scored an impressive 286 for 9, with Mike Steady scoring 75, Chris Darling 60, and JK 30.
Sheldon never looked like threatening the total, largely thanks to Kyle Taylor’s 4-37, and were content to bat out to 129-6, with the experienced Steve Mullard holding things together with an unbeaten 63.
